Hunts Community Cancer Network – Help Shape our Charity
Cancer – What matters to Me?
Are you someone affected by cancer in the Huntingdonshire area?
Maybe you have experienced cancer yourself, or a family member or close friend has a cancer diagnosis?
Or perhaps you are a health professional (complementary of mainstream) who has something to say about your experience of supporting cancer patients?
Everyone experiences cancer in a different way and we’ve launched a project:
‘What matters to Me’?
to learn more about your priorities, needs, thoughts and feelings around cancer, either in your own life or the lives of the people around you.
The cancer journey is never a path we would choose, but the right services, people, information, support and friendship can make all the difference to both health outcomes and life in general.
If we haven’t reached you yet, then please do reach out to us now and let us know more about you, what you need and how you feel.
We want to listen and then ACT to shape our charity to be the most relevant, effective, dynamic and supportive it can be for everyone over the age of 18 affected by cancer in Huntingdonshire.
If you would be happy to talk, our ‘What Matters to Me’ project leader Jackie Bland, herself a therapist who works with people with cancer, you are warmly welcomed to get in touch. It doesn’t matter whether you have a lot to say, or just want to make a single point, she’d love to hear from you.
Everyone’s opinion matters!
